The most amazing nostalgic moment happened today.
I was at work, nothing real great about that, but my boss decided she wanted ice cream, now that's she's pregnant, she's been doing it alot lately.
So I went on the errand to get her ice cream, in exchange I get to stay on the clock, and she buys me ice cream.
Well I went to Marble Slab, not great, but pretty good ice cream.
I got butter pecan with heath bar mixin, and when I got back to the store to eat it, I realized it tasted just like Butter Brickle!
Now the nostalgia,
When I was little I used to fly back to the states during the summer to visit my grandparents, and they had a pool in their backyard.
We'd go out swimming, and we'd swim all afternoon in the sweltering texas heat (I miss that pool). Sometimes just me and my brother, sometimes we had friends over.
When we finally got out of the pool in the early evening, we'd wrap a towel around ourselves, and go sit on the porch which had that green fake grass stuff, and sit in the big lawn chairs they had. And my grandfather would always bring us a bowl of Butter Brickle ice cream!
When someone talks about the greatest moments of all time That's what I think of!

I have such great memories of summers with my grandparents in New York.
Do you want to post it on the TX group page?
I dont care what kind of food we have, I just want the pickles and icecream (besides that will keep the costs down, right?) Zeph has offered up her house again, so I guess we will have it there. I am going to send you my cell # via e-mail so you can call me.
