I really have no idea what goes with fried pickles. But maybe we could do a get together at a park, or maybe at the zoo. You know, something outdoors, and we could bring the fried pickles with. Ok, wait, scratch that, this is an event that needs to be held close to the kitchen since fried pickles are best when served warm. I dunno. Give me some ideas, and i'll think somemore on it.

Um, well, I'm in Dallas. I'm the guy that sat across from you and ate chips and hot sauce and had a Texas martini at that joint on Greenville a few weeks ago... i got a postcard from holland today and it has a woman on it, bending over at a dock at water... she's barefooted, you can see one of her shoes in the grass behind her, and then the other one appears to be what she's putting in the water with tiny sails on it!... there's a little string attached to the back so it doesn't get too far - it's like flying a kite but on the water!

I never read Blades I was really into anime & manga from 15 yrs ago to 10 yrs ago, & I've been mostly out of the loop since. My fav. was Appleseed, & Dominion is funny as hell to me (& M-66 is strangely intriguing). I only recently started Ghost in the Shell (vol.1) & Orion. (If you've read Dominion, I have a funny story for you.)

Yeah, a martini without olives is dumb. I just wrote it because it fit the "theme" of the list. I actually prefer a vodka martini (gin is fine though), *slightly* dirty, stirred (shaking only affects the gin, though, right?). Suave.

It's a movie that, if you didn't read the books, you will love.. MUCH better then the first two.

If you read the books then you will be all, "what? that wasn't in the book.." Who I hate seeing LOTR with bookworms.

There were just under 10,000 people who graced A-Kon over the weekend. The only friends I ran into were the ones who I had a cell # for.

It was hard to miss me. I was one of 5 guys working the autograph line.

I make killer samosas and spinach pakoras. Maybe some tandoori shrimp or chicken. I am not a fan of lamb! Aloo mataar or Aloo chole. What kind of bread do you want to make, naan or pratha's? Bryani or plain rice? Papadums of course. Sweet mango laasi and Kulfi for desert? I say we do Indian! We should buy the chutneys pre-made. Then I was thinking middle eastern...or Greek! NO...let's stay Indian...It goes a long way! We just need potatoes, rice, yogurt, flour, lemon, spices, veggies..not too much. Oh yeah, raita as well. That is easy to make! Oh yeah, what night? I think the 25th is the best...Just give me the prep info and the grocery list and it will be ready when you get here!

Oh yeah...Saag Paneer! I forgot about that one. You can stay here for a night, I have a spare room. Whichever night Missd isn't staying.
