Salutations everyone! Alpha here and I hope you are enjoying the final stretch till the new year. I myself am looking forward to the New Year because once this month is over, my spending binge will finally leave me. Now I know that with the New Year comes people wanting to do "New Year's Resolutions". Now for me, I always have goals that I always achieve and achieving them I do because it is all about your mind. However, I want to ask everyone something totally different. Name one thing about yourself that you have - that should be a resolution or a goal or something to work on - that you simply don't mind letting be. I'll give you mine as an example.

I just got back from Barnes & Noble today because Nuclear Jellyfish by Tim Dorsey went live on paperback today. So after reading so and so many chapters from The Lovely Bones by Alice Seabold, I got all metrofied with my rock skull tee, a pair of shorts that look like a knockoff from Gap that was from Kohl's, and two slippers that are reminiscent of a Florida retiree or killer running away from his former life and headed out. I got to Barnes & Noble and bought my book...yet I spent $145 adding to the total of spending over $250 from Barnes & Noble this month.
My one vice that I don't mind changing - just taking a break from here and there - is books and literature. Some of you know I am a published author who is both self-published and traditionally published and personally I love it so you know I love novels if I personally write a book of fiction instead of a non-fiction which is done by almost EVERYONE. Even Paris Hilton wrote a non-fiction novel you know...which I will admit I read.
Anyways, I do not specialize in anything when it comes to anything so I will watch anything, play anything, do anything, read anything - as long as I am not hurting someone directly - and I will do it with a smile. As a matter of fact, here is what I bought from Barnes & Noble over the last month - which includes today's purchases which has an ironic twist if you see the books I bought today.
- The Dante Valentine Series by Lilith Saintcrow (Working for the Devil, Dead Man Rising, The Devil's Right Hand, Saint City Sinners, To Hell and Back)
- Nuclear Jellyfish by Tim Dorsey
- All the written works exclusively done by Alice Seabold (Lucky, The Lovely Bones, The Almost Moon)
- All the written works exclusively done by Sophie Kinsella (Remember Me?, Can You Keep a Secret?, The Undomestic Goddess, Confessions of a Shopoholic, Shopoholic Takes Manhattan, Shopoholic Ties the Knot, Shopoholic & Sister, Shopoholic & Baby)
Faith. Love. Hope. Will.

Congrats on the novel! Making things is hard but worth it, I'm concerned I'm by myself so much but I love making things. The mental space is necessary for me.
Hope you are having a great new year!!!!!
