1. If you knew that you had only one day left to live, what would you do for the 24 hours? Start early about 6am with a big breakfast (waffles, bacon, OJ, and eggs). Go to a park and lay in the grass with my iPod soothing my ears. Hit a museum about 10am when they first open and stroll about enjoying the proof of humanity on display. Then on to a lunch (whatever suits my mood: be it Chinese, Burger, Fajitas, Pizza). Next up would be a matinee movie. Early evening would start a big friends and family party. Play some cards, (nerts) maybe some trivial pursuit or scene it. A grill of some kind would be fired up and we would have fat bologna slices with BBQ and mustard for dipping joining the already set out appetizers (sweet pickles, olives, carrot minis, cauliflower, celery sticks, chips and queso, salsa, ranch, pimento cheese, spinach dip, deviled eggs). Chicken kabobs, steak, steak medallions wrapped in bacon, burgers, corn on the cob, salmon on a cedar plank, shrimp kabobs, polish sausage, the list of items to be grilled goes on. Finish off the night with some music, dancing, and drink. Most of all I would want Miranda by my side the whole time.
2. Do you think that life has meaning? I think it has the meaning you put into it. You can be a parasite on the world or you can leave it a better place. Your impact maybe small or even forgotten on a cosmic level but your soul will be small and forgotten if you don't even try.
3. What was your favorite childhood toy/object, or some of your favorites?
(Remember childhood according to the United Nations is anywhere from 0-18 years, so this is a fairly broad span of time). Okay, this is kinda cheating because it wasn't really mine. The stereo in the big room was Mom & Dad's but the music that came from it was for everybody. I had several various boom boxes and cassette decks of my own throughout the years but Sunday mornings were great because of those two speakers and that 8 track.
4. When you clasp your hands, do you put your right thumb over your left thumb or your left thumb over your right thumb? I am inconsistent on this. Heh, heh, I go both ways. Heh, huh, heh.
5. If you had to teach the most ignorant person on earth the most difficult thing you have ever learned, how would you go about doing it? Patience.
Feeling impatient?
1. Would you describe yourself as a patient person? Yes.
2. When you are impatiently waiting for something positive (anticipation) or negative (dread) whose arrival you can't control, how do you manage those feelings? Deal with it. There is no crying in blog-world.
3. What about when you have some influence on the arrival/timing of the awaited event? Get it over with.
4. Have your impatience-managing techniques or approaches changed over time? How? Yes. I am much more accepting now than before.
5. Have other people been helpful in learning different ways of handling this sort of thing? Something can be learned from anyone you meet. You just have to take the time to listen and learn.
I got an 18 on thisle sigh.
