your insight about you
What is your favorite experience in your life so far? There are so many to choose from. The first 4-H trip I took without my sister's supervision. I have no idea what classes or shops I went to but I was introduced to: the cure, A Clockwork Orange, Digital Underground, Nine Inch Nails, Heavy Metal (the movie), Dread Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, and Elvis Costello. I have not been the same since. Love and Music can save us, and did. There was a game when I was in little league football: I was bummed out because we lost in overtime. On the way home I was shocked to find out my Dad was not disappointed in the slightest. He told me he was really proud of me and in his opinion I played a perfect game. I was dumbfounded. On my birthdays my sister would tell me about the day I was born. Nothing better to inflate an ego I'm a tell ya. I think the best experiences are the ones you aren't looking for: Curling up with the wife after sleeping in on a cold winter morning - Falling asleep in her arms in front of the fireplace. Life is what happens in between the plans you make.
What motivates you to keep going every day? Everyday is a gift. There is no telling who you might meet or what might happen. How can you not jump up and go at life head on?
Where do you want to go in life? What do you want to accomplish? There are many places I want to go in life.but this seems like a guidance counselor type question. In the long run I want to be a history professor. I want to be the class where the students take even simple things they held as true and question everything from then on. You see to the Victor goes the spoils. So, who do you think writes the history? You really think Romulus and Remus started Rome? Did you know the Japanese ministry of education omits Pearl Harbor and the Nanking Massacre from the history books even today? History is not facts but perspective, opinion, spin, and propaganda after the fact.
Is there anything that you regret? Do you try to change it? Anytime there has been harm there should be regret.should be. You cannot change what has been done. You can only learn and remember so it doesn't happen again.
What is your most cherished gift you have received? Why do you cherish it so much? My wife bought me an iPod back in September. I had wanted one for so long. I can go anywhere and do countless things with my entire catalog in my pocket. *squeal*
