so where do I begin?
I have been a little detached from this site lately because of moving and changing jobs but I'm back.
First things first: Thank you. Thank you for all your amazing comments on my newest set Bound. I have received some beautiful comments and it makes me feel like Alissa and I have accomplished something really special. I've been a little down in the dumps so it means a lot.
2nd: I hate California and miss the fuck outta Arizona. Sorry fellow Californians, the Sacramento area is kinda lame. I'm not sure wether the fact that I miss my SGfamily, work 10-12 hour days 5-6 days a week, or that it won't stop raining is something to do with my view on life here. I've been trying to get out and do things.
I met up with Kasand she was nice enough to help me move. She was also nice enough to invite me out drinking one night which was really great of her. It was really nice to go out and nice to meet such a great girl in the new neighborhood.
I've also been walking my dog to the lake, its super close.
He hates apartment living as much as I do and we like to get away from it as much as possible. Sucks when we go to the lake there are quite a few homeless people... at least they're quiet...
Went to old Sac last weekend- it's very board-walk/carnival like. Ya know, funnel cake, kettle corn, touristy things... Found a neat coffee shop to chill in for a minute
This weekend I went to Capital Park and did some hooping and a bit of sightseeing...
There is a hoopjam there starting next Sunday! If anyone is in the Sac area, meet me there! I can't wait to meet some local hoopers!
Its back to work for me tomorrow. Even though I work crazy hours, they go by extremely fast. I meet a lot of families and work a lot of funerals so the time flies by. I get treated with respect and am actually allowed to do my job and get left to my own devices. Its been hard to acclimate to the new team, there's 60 people I work with, and its been hard to learn the new procedure but its going well.
Thank you to all my friends who have cheered me up in the past month. Its helps lift my spirits and gives me the courage to keep moving forward.
Will blog again soon
