What a great holiday Thanksgiving is. One truly for self indulgence and appreciation of the self indulgence. My kind of holiday! I celebrated this day with turkey and all the trimmings.

I always make Giada's roast turkey recipe from the food network with a few minor changes, like using the turkey bag. I fucking win at roasting turkey... just FYI... Following the main course was delicious blueberry pie a la mode.

Fuck Yes. I have also had a steady intake of red wine, starting about 11am this morning. The only downside to the day was seeing all the horrific black friday commercials. Thanksgiving is about, well, being thankful for what you have. Its not about lusting over black friday deals for shit people don't really need anyway. Yet another reason to be embarrassed about being an american.

I'm having my own little holiday gift spree, I'm making origami hair barrettes! I've stocked up on some really neat paper and I'm folding my heart out.





I'm making my guys friends something a bit different so don't worry dudes, I wont force you to wear my pretty hair flowers.

I do have to work tomorrow. It may be a short day for me. The boss said not to come in unless we're busy but I have a few obits I need to get into the paper for Sunday. Hopefully I'll be able to leave after I get that done.

Exciting weekend coming up: Black Friday rebel fire spinning, new tattoo, drinking with my SG fam, and a photo shoot with Dejah.... Fuck yeah!
