Nothing exciting going on in my life lately.
Trying to listen to more music this past week. Have not bothered in a while.
I had forgotten how much music improves one's mood.
I worked really hard the past couple weeks, well, month - really. My project is showing some good signs of the attention I have poured on it.
Anybody could say that at least a few times a year, though.
Let's see. Cat ran away last night. We ran out of food and I did not have any to give her. So when I went out shopping that evening I bought her a bunch of it.
I thought she would be all happy.
Instead, she bolted off out the front door as soon as I opened it.
Could not convince her to come in. Efforts to recapture were unsuccessful. Swept the area. Subject not found.
After a second search an hour later proved unsuccessful, I put an open tin of her new food out on the front steps just outside the door.
An hour or two later, I found it had mostly been eaten. Still no cat sighting though.
Went to bed, somewhat unhappy over cat-is-missing status.
Next morning I got up and she rushed in. I gave her two little cans of food.
After he meal she advanced upstairs and yowled for fresh water. She is picky that way.
I refreshed it and asked her if there were any purrs. She purred demurely, answering in the affirmative, at least implicitly.
