Hey guys. What's new? I've been dealing with a heartache lately. I just got a new tattoo from one of my lovely and favorite artist but something just went wrong during the session. The end result : I really don't like my new tattoo that was suppose to go along with the original part. The main part was a saying " let your soul cry" from one of my inspiration and love of my life singer, Jonny Craig. Since the saying said that, I wanted some sort of representation of a soul below the words and have a nice background added to it. But instead I got a mess of what looks like ribbon and weird circles on my boobs. Not at all what I was hoping for and I don't quite understand ( unless he changed his mind in the middle of it) of my idea would look like this...I'm really hoping my first tattoo artist (who's done my amazing zombie and a good majority of all my tatts) can fix it or cover it up. I have an appointment to drive to stl in a few weeks to see what he can do *fingers crossed* . If not time to save up some money and remove as much as I can to help cover over it. This time I have my idea down to a T and plenty of pictures similar to what i want done next time. Instead of a soul, I'm just going to stick with a steam punk idea of a heart; gears and metal plates, the works. with 2 pipe coming out the top with smoke blowing out to form clouds and a nice key hanging from the point of the heart. I'm hoping this way its big enough to fit over the existing tattoo, colors are bold and dark enough, and it would match the skulls and wings that are attached to the "let your soul cry" I think this could work. Wish me luck! and if anyone with tattooing experience has any ideas, Shout it out. I'm totally open to anything!
Heres what the tattoo looks like so far..

Doesn't look too bad, but can see why you'd be dissastisfied with it. Looks easily correctable. He should've taken you through a step-by-step process instead of just tattooing circles and ribbons without very much input. I guess I can see what he was getting at, but it sounds like, "Hope ya like these ribbons and circles on yer boobs... all done!" Good luck with the other tattoo artist.
