So, off to Seattleness on a midnight train. I don't have to wait the 5 hours I thought I did either. My glorious doppleganger is buying me a bus ticket so I can at least wait around his house and not a city I've never been to. I'm so excited. I need this and when I get back I get to start working a second job in earnest. No more sleep or spare time for me.
On a strange side note, when I was riding my bike yesterday I had a thought. Houses can be just as deformed as people. If the person trying to change it doesn't pay attention to the house and just goes with what they want, an addition can end up looking like a strange extra limb. Other houses get built up so far beyond what they were, the beauty and simplicity of what was there to begin with gets lost, unless you're really willing to look. Why do people do this to their houses and each other? And has anyone else ever noticed this?

I completely agree. I noticed this one house in my town that put an addition on and painted it an obnoxious pink....mind you the rest of the house is lime green? Maybe they are color blind?
