Life is really looking up lately. It's been beautiful the past couple days and I broke out my hula hoop. The next step is the bike. Time for Baby and I to brave the highways and crazy drivers to tone my body's winterness into bikini ready summerness.
I got one of my stories published; in a very small, "trendy" mag that's just starting out, but it's something, and it's a start.
I also apparently made the National Dean's List. I was surprised, confused and ultimately happy.
Last night was the monthly reading in town. I read my story Secrets which got some 'oohs' at the creepy parts and a couple laughs. I was also told I was a "really beautiful writer". I'm pretty sure I could have floated home on all that happy.
I'm visiting my male doppleganger in Seattle in two weeks and have a chance to meet the lovely panini in person.
Please just let things stay this way. I haven't had this much goodness in a long time. I do, however, still hate men, but it's a side-hate and is blocked behind the walls of happy
