Well, I'm obsessed. I've been immobile for about the past month, and had nothing to do but work on projects and confront my dreaded enemy the television. The t.v. won. I am now absolutely obsessed with two shows: House and Heroes.
First of all, if House were a real man and not Hugh Lorrie in character, I would be all up in his Kool-Aid. He would have no choice. I would steal his cane and jump him in inappropriate public places all over this land. Who knew a clever asshole could be so damn loveable. I haven't known what to do with myself since baseball took over. But he'll be back, better and sexier than ever on Halloween night.
Anyway, in his absence, I started watching Heroes and again with the addiction. For those who don't know, it's about a group of people who all have special ways they can save the world. The cheerleader can heal herself. The painter paints the future. The politician can fly. The cute little japanese guy can manipulate time and space. The mother changes into another self that lives in mirrors. The cop can hear people's thoughts. And the politician's brother can take on the ability of whichever one he's around. Most recently, they've discovered that the cheerleader is somehow a key to saving the world. So, before they can save everyone, they have to save her.
They're perfect little stories and I'm absolutely obsessed. And it's sad. I need a life.
