So I was out and about and ran into a friend, who had another friend with her, plus the friend of a friends daughter. Later into the conversation, the friend said, "Hey Daughter Friend has taken the LSAT and is thinking about law school next year." More chit-chat, and the Daughter asks, " So, you think I should go to law school?"
I hate that question, cause no one really wants your opinion on that topic. If they are asking, they already have made up their mind and are planning to go to law school. Rather then be the guy who pisses on the parade, I made various vague noises and hand gestures. My advice? If I had actually given what I thought? Don't go to law school unless you can go for free. Law school is no longer worth the debt most law students incur. Fin.

Is college really expense where you live?
thaddeusjd:
College? No, an undergraduate degree is rather reasonably priced and not expensive at all. In the US (if you already know this, please forgive me), before you can study law, you need to do your four years in undergraduate and get your Bachelors degree. Then, if you are accepted, you can do another three years and get your law degree. Thats where it gets expensive, the graduate education.
