I've had a really awesome week.
@ev_ and I had date night Tuesday and Wednesday.
We didn't plan on dining out on both nights, but I had my heart set on the boscaiola pasta at a local restaurant. When we arrived on Tuesday we found out that the chef has Tuesday's off, and they were only cooking pizza!
I really couldn't complain. We had a nice little meal at the brewery on Tuesday night, and my pasta on Wednesday was perfect!
Friday and Saturday saw me running around like a chook with its head cut off. It's the start of snow season, and one very busy weekend for our little tourist town. Even if the snow has not yet set in.
We headed out of town yesterday to Rutherglen, which is just shy of a 2 hour drive. They were having their country fair with plenty of market stalls, and interesting shops to look around in.
Once we got back into town last night we decided to hit up the local pub for a drink... in fact many drinks! It was a wonderful night, which saw us making two new friends.
Today we took a drive up to Mt Buffalo. You'll see a number of pictures uploaded via my instagram.
I really struggle with heights. This includes mountainous terrain, and cliffs. We climbed to 1720m above sea level today at 'The Horn' on Mt Buffalo. It scared the hell out of me, but I'm really glad I made the venture up.
In other news, my sister is getting married in August and we've secured the flights back up to Brisbane! I'm really excited for August, and to see my sister start the next chapter of her life.
