I recently moved interstate and let me tell you, it was not an enjoyable journey.
We had to sacrifice so much, and leave a lot behind (at my Mothers) simply because it wouldn't all fit in the trailer.
We were several hours into our 20+ hour drive when a massive storm hit. Our tarps ripped and our belongings were being saturated!
I've never seen my partner so angry.
I was crying, and our dogs were stressed.
While we struggled to see out of the windscreen through the pouring rain, all I wanted was to get there safely!
A few more hours of rain, and it finally let up.
We made it to Victoria in one piece.
After allowing two days for our belongings to dry, everything was working, and some of it was only mildly water damaged.
Our new house is beautiful and the dogs have settled in nicely.
I really need to find employment so I can make this house a home! I'm dying to decorate. We have so many spare rooms!!
I'm currently back at my parents place in Queensland. I felt that I needed to return home to help finalise the old house.
I feel really positive about everything moving forward!
Below is our pup Trev, running around our acre of land.
