I have a squillion things on my mind at the moment. It's probably why I was wide awake at 4am. On the plus side, I looked out my window and it was crazy foggy. All the orange street lights made it look like the world was coming to an end.. a sweet, beautiful, orangey end.
Our flights to Airlie beach are locked in.. now I'm just trying to find accommodation. Part of me really wants to be cheap, but honestly.. how many times do you get to go to the Great Barrier Reef with a gorgeous boy?? I'm checking out a few sweet little Bed & Breakfast joints. A little more expensive than the backpacker style, but not as expensive as the hotels.
My work also offers discounts for some major tourist attractions, so I'm trying to see what crazy, fun things we can afford to do. Top of the list is the Glow Worm tours, Story Bridge adventure climb, Lone Pine koala sanctuary, and of course some kind of cruise around the Great Barrier Reef.
I am SO glad I have a job and regular income!
Dear sweet baby Jesus,
Please don't let me fuck this up.

Otherwise I'm researching steampunk ideas like a crazy woman. The SGAU annual ball will be held in Sydney this year, and it's theme is.. yep, you guessed it, steampunk.
I'm hoping to find a seamstress who will make part of my outfit for me.. mainly because the clothes on etsy are just fucking ridiculously priced. Yes.. I'm sure they worked very hard, and probably sourced amazing materials, but its just not happening. I've not paid $300 for a jacket and I don't intend to start now.
I keep checking daily for happy hour flights to Sydney, hoping I can save on the flight prices.
All of this, and I'm trying to pay off debts, lose weight, learn my role at my new job, and stay sane
Oh and I'm kind of hoping to save up enough money over the next 5 months to go back to the US for Christmas.
Like I said.. a lot on my mind.
PS. I really shouldn't have put photographs on my desk wall at work. It just makes me day dreamy and I lose concentration.

Drew and I sorted out our issues, and he's changed a lot in the last 2 yrs or however long its been. He's woken up to himself and realised he cant keep treating ppl the way he was. But I completely understand ur feelings towards him dude.
