so several of my friends are going through dating/marriage problems right now. Luckily enough my wife and me get along great after 8 years. But we have been there for all of them as they are all in different stages. But it's funny that no matter what the age, the game is all the same. One friend on the dating rebound, another going through a tough time in marriage and her high school daughter now is pregnant and now "in love". All of this reminded me of something I was told in college by 3 girls who were my lab partners. I had spent 2 semesters with them when they said, you know we have been talking. You would make a great second husband. You know the type of guy you don't marry for looks or money. But a guy you marry because you want to be happy and taken care of. I snickered and said ouch, I get it I'm broke and ugly thanks. Of course they back tracked. And I stopped them it didn't bother me. I knew what they meant. Being the "nice" guy, I knew my friend zone space. The three were all going through rough times. One in a bad marriage, one only dating losers, and the other was pregnant in a bad relationship. Sounds familiar doesn't it. Its just amazing how it seems like it never changes. And the excuses they each make is the same excuses you always here. Well I don't do single well, oh I love him and I'll change him, it's too hard to find someone knew. I never understood why someone chooses to remain unhappy
