So I'm watching American Gangster, a great movie btw, and I just can't get over the state of American morals depicted in the film. I don't care about the drugs and the murder, its the fact that gangsters like Bumpy and Frank are more willing to walk around at Thanksgiving and hand out fuckin' turkey dinners to the needy instead of these big conglomorations. Bill Gates, by himself, has enough money to put a turkey on every Americans dinner table at Thanksgiving and not even blink. Why doesn't he? Actually, Bill Gates donates lots of his money to charities so he's a good guy, but you get what I'm saying. Why is it that the scum of the earth are more willing to help the needy then "upstanding" individuals? It pisses me off. I mean, even if these guys do give to charities, they never seem to give enough. Theres more than enough money in America, private America, to solve the worlds hunger problems. Why don't these rich bastards do more than write out a million dollar check to sleep better at night. SHIT!
