I've been meaning to write a new blog for a while, I actually had something typed up since November but never sat down long enough to update and post. Now that work seems to be back on track with all the new crew members doing well, I won't have to work all the time and can hopefully plan more shoots or at least take another vacation to Florida.
After multiple tries this blog will be completely written from my phone as the photo uploader isn't working at all on my laptop. I've never blogged from my phone so this should be interesting.
Picking up where I left off in my last blog, I ended up not getting the tattoo because the design didn't work well placement wise for where I wanted. The artist didn't want the sword to wrap around my arm and said he would have to draw up a whole new design. I started drawing something up myself but haven't finished it. I have a 5 day weekend so I will sit down and try to finish it along with catching up on some reading. For Halloween I didn't go out but dressed up at work as Malificent (Angelina Jolie version) and hung out at home. I also went to AWA in October, my friend works security and got me a pass. I had a lot of fun and finally found a copy of Mario Kart though it was expensive.
My feature for Sweet and Inked also came out in October as well.
I started to eat a lot healthier, not that I was eating terrible before, and I'm seeing better results with working out at home. I did fall off the wagon a bit with holiday candy but I'm slowly getting back into my workout grind. The holidays weren't too bad at work, a ton of orders but everything went pretty smoothly. I'm more sore afterwards than past years so I may actually have to break down and get a massage. I've avoided it because I'm super ticklish, but my shoulders still hurt so why not. I spent Thanksgiving and Christmas with family and an awesome friend got me some art supplies so I should get back into drawing more and make use of the set.
2016 was a pretty good year for me. I hung out with friends more, traveled to Florida twice, and had the pleasure of being published again. I started off 2017 with the great news that Kat Attack Photo's book "The Holy Booble" reached its goal on Kickstarter and was published! They should be shipped out by June 1st. If anyone is interesting in a copy to see myself along with several beautiful women from all over the world including Suicidegirls @marceline and @peggysue here is the Link. The kickstarter page I mentioned has a wonderful description of the book along with a video full of boobs like Christy Mack's.
A belated Happy New Year to you all by the way! I hope everyone enjoyed themselves during their festivities. I kept to my tradition of napping, watching anime, and watching my neighbors set off fireworks to bring in the new year. It's usually really cold or raining so I tend to not go out. I'm not one for making new years resolutions but some goals for 2017 for me would be to model more, possibly get one or two more tattoos, continue working out to get more fit, and shooting a new SG set as November of this year will mark 10 years as a member (I've only been a hopeful for 4 of those years).
In my last blog I posted that I was in the talks to shoot a new SG set, that ended up not happening but I got a message from the incredible @niffler that she is talking to @sobelle about coming down to GA to shoot if enough hopefuls are interested. Other than that I've been planning future shoots with KramerStudios for her Patreon and putting content aside to someday start my own. Work wise the 1st of February was my 4 year anniversary and I received a raise and a nice thank you from the owner. The owner had been trying to plan another company outing but a few people couldn't do it on the original dates she picked so the only date that worked for everyone was my birthday since our outings are on Sundays and my birthday fell on a Sunday this year (March 5th). We went to Sip N' Strokes to celebrate which is a painting class where you are allowed to drink wine. Since it was my birthday I got to get an extra painting done by an instructor from a previous class but I had to dance to everyone singing me happy birthday to get it, which is as awkward as it sounds. A few of my coworkers chipped in and got me a tattoo machine since that is my ideal career!
I had another wonderful feature in Sour Magazine with a set that I shot with NoRegretsPhoto that I had been waiting to share!
I decided to go to the SG Blackheart burlesque show again this year and had a great time. I got to meet the beautiful SG @manic, all of the ladies on tour, and hang out with gorgeous hopefuls @keekeez @topaz_ and @konoha. I also got a ton of hugs from the incredible @Arwen 💖 Also not pregnant in the photo just swollen, my stomach does that when I eat too much or I haven't eaten 😛
As a birthday present to myself I purchased VIP tickets to see Bush when they were here May 10th. Had an amazing time seeing them again, everything that I wanted to happen happened. I got the email itinerary and found that I had to show up at the venue at 4:45 though the doors didn't open until 7 so it was a lot of time to kill. I had a photo taken with everyone and got hugs from each member. When I got to Gavin I asked him if he could sign my tattoo, before the meet and greet the photographer said that there would be no autographs because we already had signed merch and to keep our cellphones away to have human interaction. Gavin said yes and asked for my name as I was hugging Robin and then asked what my tattoo was of which I said was a Les Paul guitar. After the photo he said that he would be able to sign it after the meet and greet but he didn't have a pen. I told him that I had one in my purse and he said ok. I got another hug and went back to the lobby because that's how strict security was being, you had to leave as soon as you had your picture taken and couldn't have a conversation with them which is understandable. I'm sure people would talk their ears off if they could.
I found a fellow introvert and we ended up hanging out all night, while we were outside she also made friends with two other cool ladies and we all met up once we were allowed back into the stage area to get our spots for the show.
After the show we all waited around for a bit and then I went outside to the tour buses. Chris was outside and I asked a lady who had seen Bush 29 times if Gavin had come out and she said no. I waited and he came out right as Chris was leaving to get back on the bus. He remembered my request when he saw me and said time for me to sign your belly. I pulled up my shirt and he asked where I wanted it so I pointed where and he signed. He accidently made a mistake and added an extra "i" like when you write and accidently dot the I in the wrong spot. He told me not to get that tattooed, he was like you're a pretty girl and that's a great tattoo but please don't get that tattooed please have my name spelled correctly. I promised and asked if I could get a photo with him and he said only if I don't get his misspelling tattooed so I agreed. I gave him another hug and snuck a kiss on his neck while I was pulling away as he was thanking me for coming out.
Well I think that's all that's happened since my last blog update, hopefully it won't be so long til the next one. I hope you all enjoyed it and everyone is doing well! Now I'm off to get caught up on sets, blogs, and groups 😊
