Argh! I'm edging closer to 30, and I feel like, besides my girls, I don't have anything to show for it! What the hell have I done with my life for the past 6 or 7 years???? When I was 18, 19, 20, 21 I had it going on! Seriously! I was working in a job I enjoyed with people that I loved and respected, like we were one huge happy family, I had my kick ass band, I had lots of cool stuff going on. Fast forward to now and it seems to have gone backwards quite considerably.
I cheated on my diet yesterday. Bad I know, but my gf wanted KFC and so I joined her.... I still consumed less than the daily recommended amount of calroies by quite some distance though, and I worked out for a while, so I don't feel too bad about it. It's wise to treat yourself now and then. I'm not weighing myself either, for two reasons. 1. I don't own scales. 2. I think the visual is enough for me.
I don't have to cook tonight! Woo! Two nights in a row! I do love cooking, but it's nice to kick back now and then too. Fajitas for my birthday dinner, completely my choice, as they are the most delicious food stuff I could think of when questioned.
I need a good way of getting out of a meeting on Friday. Well, not actually getting out of it, just moving the location. I've been asked to meet with a supplier that we deal with, but he wants to come to our office. Our office isn't in the best shape right now, so I'd much rather meet him somewhere else, but I'm somehow stumped as to what to say without sounding like I'm hiding something...... Tricky. Old age has ruined my brain, clearly!
Still wishing I went to this:
