i need a job! a christmas temp job! something that will give me some extra spending money, possibly for presents, more likely for alcohol..... and i need foooooooooood. that's my favourite part of christmas. i'm gonna cook a turkey and a duck this year, and probably a nice big ham joint for boxing day

You're probably cooking up a vegetarians nightmare christmas there! hahaha!
Giving up alcohol is a massive step! although I can go weeks at a time without drinking (well, I have done in the past, i probably couldn't now! haha!), I think actually saying "I'm not touching a drop" would just make me crave a drink! Mucho respect for managing that - I bet the holiday was more than worth the sacrifice!
