so i've moved into my new house now it's pretty amazing i have to say. the living room is practically finished, bar a few sexy touch ups (i need a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge oriental print, and a black and white oriental picture to go above my fireplace - any ideas?), and i need to stain my dining table and chairs to match the fireplace and coffee table. there are a few issues that need to be rectified, like how the plumbing under the sink is a horrific mess. grrrr. still, it's pretty bad ass. and my bedroom looks awesome too

bought lots of ingredients yesterday so i'm now fully stocked up on spices. i love having stuff to cook with. i had a very tasty meal last night because of it too. i'm also having my mum and step dad over at the weekend so that i can cook for them, to say thank you. my mum bought me lots of cleaning stuff for the house (i'm a stickler for other people's things. i need to know it's been cleaned to my standards! hehe), and has been dishing me money when she can, and generally being all round awesome. my step dad helped me move everything from my old place, and helped me pick up things like my sofa and stuff. lots of lifting, moving, packing, unpacking, etc. not sure what to cook yet, but i'll ponder for a while......

i'm going to play lots more guitar. i've decided it needs to be done. now i have a good space to do it in so i guess there's no excuse, and my girlfriend is always trying to get me to play. a friend of mine is desperate to write a christmas song too, so that we can live off the royalties for the rest of our lives..... haha. i think that sounds like a plan!
