Random Thoughts over time
The Forgotten One:
As I lay here dying I see your face,
Long forgotten like a broken vase.
Time heals all some would say,
But few will ever know this day.
Death is cold and dark as night,
Look in my soul and see your fright.
You hear the sound as you ask why,
For not yet known that I lay dying.
Time will tell, wounds will heal,
As you sit and dwell you will feel.
My memory hardly remains today,
But know my pain has gone away.
Live on my love and you will see,
A past yet planned for you and me.
For few might reach your graceful heart,
Not knowing when the pain might start.
For love is life and truly blind,
As the clock ticks now I lay here dying.
Some may fear or even dread,
The dark cold soul of the newly dead.
But as you look and think of me,
Look past the death and you will see,
A beautiful plan for you not me.
Live your life and learn thy love,
As the future watches from above.

Falling for you:
The further we go the faster we fall,
with this broken soul we know its not all.
The tears the blood the sweat the pain,
We pray it all washes away with the rain.
God forgive me for my passionate crime,
That just goes to show the signs of this time.
Theres no more love in this placid heart,
Pain has fulfilled and ripped it apart.
All I wanted was to make it all right,
I didnt expect that heartbreaking night.
As I sit here now writing my pain,
It seems just yesterday but nothings the same.
Time goes on like an eternal ghost,
For praise be to god for he is our host.
Love is but a shadow on lifes fateful wall,
The further we go the faster we fall.

THEM
Who are those who dance in the sky
How do they move without moving
The ground shakes when they speak
So strong they are
It rains when they are sad
The tides they rise
Sorrow of the world rests on them
They exist to see tomorrow
Will it come
It has come and will yet again
Before a blind eye they dance
They whisper to a deaf ear
They are not of this world
The brink of sleep you may see them
Smiling, crying, laughing, living
Till the end
Till you awake among them
You shall be free

What do you see when you look at me
Do you see the future for us
How do you know if it is real
Can you hear them calling
The words are so sweet
Sometimes I can hear them screaming
Demons painted on the children of now
They stare with hollow eyes
The sins of yesterday on the shoulders of the future
Madness spewing from the world
As we kill one another
For what I say
Humanity
Destined to destroy all

I SEE THE NEW SUN RISE OVER HELL
Twelve hours staring into the darkness
Dust turns to mud as the sweat drips over our face
The sound of an ancient language conspiring against us
We see the fires, we hear the blasts
Wondering how many just returned home at that moment
Day after day we work
Thinking how great life shall be when its over
Waiting to sleep so we can once again see those whom we love
We are warriors compared to those of past
Though I have set my name in this country's foundation
We are but the shadow of death to all those who oppose
We carry this burden true
We strike without hesitation
We kill or be killed, every animals path
Fear us for we are as the titans of old
Gods among men
Fighting to the gates of hell to tear them down

My Life
The story of my broken life
So far fetched its out of sight
A story of truth A story of lies
A story filmed by my own eyes
A life in the open A life full of secrets
A secret is A secret as long as you keep it
A life full of trouble A life full of pleasure
A life that changed more often than weather
A story which starts much like it ends
A story of a love and A life well lived

Brothers
As the rain falls down from the sky
We sit here now and begin to cry
For we won the fight and we won the war
But brothers we lost are here never more
We still here there laughs
We still see there sweat
Memory's of them we shall never forget
For brothers in war are brothers in life
We will all meet in heaven in time

I wish I knew how to make you smile
I wish you were here to make it worth while
I wish I could kiss you once more again
I wish it were then back when we were kids
I wish time would stop passing so fast
I wish I could stop living the past
I wish I remembered the way you smell
I wish we hadn't fought that night in the hotel
I wish I could go back and change some things
I wish you would stop haunting my dreams
I wish you still loved me the way it was
I wish you knew my heart still does
I wish you no pain and to live life your best
I wish you to know ill love you always above all the rest
-Tristen Schreck May 08
I dream when I'm awake
Dreams of the future and past mistakes
I say I love you while you walk away
The last I love you on our last day
For the sun goes down and turns to night
Life is so blurry the good is never in sight
When I close my eyes and see your face
A picture of you I wish to embrace
I dream of the past how it was back then
I wish it were now to be happy again

Once
Our eyes touch each other every time we meet
Two hearts enter twined though the words we just cant speak
One simple phrase to say a lifetime of thought
Though a phrase so simply said never comes without a cost
If I had you here and now I would say so many things
I look and touch and smell you from this day to early spring
I would say that I am sorry for pushing you away
I would love you to no end I pray this everyday
The way your lips shine as they meet with mine
I hope one day to live back then and kiss you one last time
But if that chance shall never come I hope you think of me
For ill love you till the day I die you are forever in my dreams

The Guardians
The smell of burning flesh resides inside my head
The pictures of rotting bodies far too long the dead
War is hell some would say
But few shall ever know this day
We roll out of bed into our boots
Contemplating the day ahead waiting for someone to shoot
We wonder what the future may hold
Will we die here today or live to grow old
Hero' to some tyrants to others
Praying for home to see fathers and mothers
Long are the days, the days of old
We fight in the heat
We fight in the cold
As the lambs lay with the lions
We shall be here forever fighting
For guardians of life as keepers of death
This choice we hold true till we take our last breath

The Human Spirit.. The spirit is a hard thing to break, its fills the hearts and souls of everyone. It is as delicate as a rose but as hard and strong as its thorns. If needed it will pierce the flesh of the wicked. If you happen to break ones spirit you can control the heart and mind of anyone, for the spirit can move mountains and win wars but can also turn a man against his love, wage holy battles or destroy kingdoms. The spirit is wild and should be treated as such. So if someone says I love you with all my heart and soul or dont tread on me, good or bad, day or night the soul can save you or be your worst fright. Sleep well my friends<3 -Tristen Schreck
