I should probably update more often. When I look at the things I write and think "gee, that actually turned out really well," it's probably time to update.
The night that I wrote about in my last post (where I was invited, then disinvited to babysite), I was reinvited to be the designated driver. So, I went and it was a great time. I won darts and shuffleboard.
Had a math test and got one of four A's in the class. Have an Anthropology test today.
Oh! Here's something interesting:
I almost joined the military a couple years ago. Well, my recruiter called me at the end of last week, we arranged a lunch date, etc (it's been like two years since I last talked to him). So, I get to his office yesterday and the first thing he says to me is, "You look great. Have you lost weight?" Well, why yes I have, so the fact that he said it, not totally weird. I expected one of two things to happen at this luncheon: 1. to be recruited 2. to tell him about my life, so that later I could be recruited. Nope, neither of these things happened. We just joked around, he bought me lunch, told me about his life. I kind of think the point was to flirt with me and maybe be seen in public with a cute girl, but that just seems so beyond the realm of possibilities ... but he was really ... complimentary/flirtatious (things like, I look thin, my hair looks good darker and shorter, I'm an attractive girl). Oh! And I could swear I saw him check out my ass. Damnit, I had the biggest crush on him when he was my recruiter. That's why I'm really having such a hard time figuring this out. He was so professional then, but this wasn't the same person. I liked it.
Give me a heads up here!
