Okay, so KaiKai KiKi.
I just can't really get into the idea of art proteges, or art factories for that matter. Though if you read any Murakami, it's actually super keen and provocative in his relationship with Japanese culture and Otaku. But none the less, I dunno. I just wasn't feeling it.
THEN
THEN Aya Takano. So unexpected. So amazing. I am in love. I am in love with little red elbows and knees. I can't even begin to tell you how obsessed I am, and it literally happened in like five seconds. Now I want to mural my entire body as a Takano homage. Okay maybe not my entire body. But I am definitely emotionally invested in this work to a crazy crazy happy level. And don't steal my idea for Takano body art. I would cry forever.

"In a place far away from anyone or anywhere, I drifted off for a moment."
