So I have a motorcycle now!!
I spent most of yesterday afternoon at the dealership working out the details and getting everything set. It is SO amazing!! 2003 Suzuki Intruder Volusia. Its an 800cc cruiser, two-tone white and silver, perfect condition!! The babie runs sweet!! I can't wait until next week when I have time to take her up to the mountains and enjoy the back roads a bit!! I'll try to get a nice pic to put up for everyone (Carly maybe you could get one Friday night?) Now, to get experience riding so I feel comfortable putting someone on the back.
In other news...last day of biochem was today...just have our final on Friday and then I'm ALL DONE!! Also...I will probably be falling off the face of the earth for most of August. I got my schedule for Thompson Valley Monday and I'm working almost 340 hours there in August...and I still have to schedule shifts at my other job in Ft. Collins!! The nice part of it all is that I'm hoping to be able to put a whole bunch of money away so that I, theoretically, would not have to work at all durring the semester and still could pay my bills (that means about $5k). Now in reality I AM still going to work durring the semester, but this way I don't have to stress about getting enough hours.
That's all I've got...gotta go study..or maybe I'll go for a ride...no, I should study! See you all Friday night!
Nate.

haha...i've felt pretty intelligent in some cu classes too...especially the math class i had. and i'm not a math person AT ALL. you wonder how some of these kids manage to fill out applications sometimes.
anyhoo, that's a really good idea. i think i'll skip the reading beginning...tonight. and resume next week. and create my really awesome mind-blowing comment.
i have a really good diary somewhere (circa 4th and 5th grade) and i don't know where it is. i'm going to run out of 3rd/4th grade material soon...and my middle/high school ones aren't really funny. just emo.
i whipped out the calculator (because i'm dorky) and calculated the number of hours you're going to work in a week in august. 75.55555556. damn. and another job also? is there any sleep time in that? i once worked a 70 hour week when i was 17 (subway and water world) and thought i was going to DIE. i can't imagine more than that and for a month!
Thanks.
Form letter above. Congrats on the Volusia! I just got back from CO, you have about 1/2 of America's great roads there. It sounds like you're a new rider, please pardon if you're not. If you haven't taken the Motorcycle Safety Foundation class, go do it. If you have taken it, start looking into a track school that specializes in cornering skills. I ride a Moto Guzzi cruiser, but I loved California Superbike School so much I've taken it 3 times when they come to Pennsylvania. Look for them at a track near you. With roads like Trail Ridge Road, Million Dollar Hwy, etc. you need serious cornering skills. So drop me a note and join SGMotorcycles.
