WOW....life is so wonderful sometimes!! (No...I didn't get laid
).
So first off, beer is wonderful!! We got about thirty people together at Old Chicago's on Saturday night and drank the entire world beer tour (110 different beers) in one sitting...now if you do the math on that, it comes out to be something like almost 4 beers a person. Well when I counted, I had had 6 beers.
Yea, that was awsome!! They made the mistake of sitting families with small children near us, we were loud, and obnoxious and sang filty, filty songs all night. (Do YOU know 13 versus to the Ball of Kerrymuir? I do!!)
The best part about the night had to be the fact that Biochem girl came along!! We had gotten together earlier in the day to study for our final on Friday, not that we got a whole lot of studying done. She agreed to come along and have a couple of beers, but I guess that idea went out the window pretty quick. I brought her the first two beers and after the second told her that whenever she didn't want anymore to just tell me and I'd stop bringing them to her. Well...next thing I know she's bringing ME beer and keeping up with me! WOW, I'm impressed!! Ofcourse, she couldn't REALLY handle that much, and did not feel terribly well after we'd gotten home later. We had a great time though!! She sang with us and had fun and everyone agreed that she was kewl (which I believe is the first time my friends have all liked a gril I was seeing and thought I should stay with her!) I'm not allowed to say we're dating yet, she has a rule that she's gotta be friends with a guy for three months before she'll date them...which is fine by me...except it seems awfully confusing considering...
So the other big thing currently is that I think I'm gonna buy a motorcycle this week. I went and test road a motorcycle on Friday and fell in love with it! But I came home and, with a little help from my friends, talked myself back to my senses. I wasn't quite sure how much I'm gonna get to work this fall considering how many classes I'm taking (15 credit hours), and I thought my budget might be a little tight, so it probably isn't a good idea. The problem with that was...I took it another step, went to the bank and found out what the interest rates would be, calculated monthly payments, went through my records and calculated a budget for each month, and then looked at paystubs to figure out aproximately how much I'll be earning each month this fall. Well, its well within my means to make the payments, but I figured it'd still probably not be a great idea. Then the final schedule for one of my jobs came out this afternoon...lets just say that of 264 hours between July 30th and August 9th....I'm working 205 of them!! I'm gonna be bringing in BANK that month, which means I'll be able to put away a good chunk of savings (especially if I'm good and am careful with what food I buy and since I won't have to drive as far...not to mention my new motorcycle will get about twice as many miles/gal!!). So now it looks like if I can get the dealership to make me a good offer, I'm gonna get a motorcycle this week!!
Wow...yea. So RHPS on Friday!! Hope to see some of you people there...I'll probably be showing up on my new bike!!
I may have time to post another update before then, but if not...see you all there!!

i decided to meet up for rocky horror in the little parkish grassy area across the street from the teahouse and the museum of contemporary art between 7:30 and 8 before the movie starts. i'm going to the teahouse before then...taking a girl from work out on a date....yessss....HOT DATE.
so you should come meet up then, if you'd like!
i can't wait for the weekend! i need a break from the usual week monotony. also going up to winter park for an art show...hope it's way cooler (temperaturewise) up there. someone at work also told me that "hogfest" is up there this weekend too? you could go and relish in the comraderie with fellow bikers now!
