Well, since my climbing partner for Rainer backed out on my a week before our trip, I ended up canceling my attempt. Instead, I bummed around Seattle for a few days and then helped my little sister driver her stuff back to Colorado. All in all, it was a fantastic trip!! I've been in Seattle a few times before, and while I've always loved the city, I felt like I'd never really appreciated it. So this trip I took two whole days and did nothing but wander around the city! I had rented a really nice super wide angle lens for the Rainier trip, which I brought to Seattle with and absolutely fell in love with it!! Here are the highlighted pics from the trip:
WARNING! LARGE images, and LOTS of em!
Moving on...
So everything is set for my move. I'm leaving July 7th, early in the morning. I'm also gone for a good bit of June on various trips. So what this means is that I've got very limited time to catch up with any Colorado area people before I run off to Florida for the next four years. What I AM doing, is going to the Outlaw's lacrosse game at Invesco on the 14th of June, then afterward I'm gonna head out to some of the bars and restaurants in downtown Denver for the night. If you are interested in seeing me before I go, this is your best chance!! If for some reason you can't make it or are not interested in any of those activities...call me or send me a PM and we can try to work something out!
I'm not really sure what else to say...work is a pain in the ass...but I'm almost done so whatever...I'm so fucking BEYOND ready to leave...its like my entire life is just hanging in limbo. I have this giant step forward looming in front of me, but no no...I have to wait another month before I can do that! I want to tear out my eyes! Oh well...
glad you still had a good time in seattle though. but still, rainier would have been nice.
