Attention to all who actually read my journal, the silent majority cannot remain silent anymore. Christian Fundamentalism has invaded American politics and with America's political and military might, it's only a short time before we have religious, fascist state in several countries. Not unlike the middle east right now. So if you love, or even merely like this site, write the U.S. D.A.s office at the U.S. Department of Justice daily, asking, no demanding that they stop this holy war of theirs against "deviant pornography".
You all may not like what you read or see on these sites, but as long as it doesn't involve actual murder, or children, it shouldn't come under government scrutiny. So if you love your rights, don't let these turds get away with this, while you're at it make a big stink about the Patriot Act, I swore to uphold and defend the Constitution of The United States, and this act is a staunch violation of the most important document in our government. The Patriot Act is no less than a rescinding of your First Amendment rights. If you don't believe it, read it.
Also, I don't think the citizens of the nations involved in the Iraq debacle have made a smelly enough stink about our involvement in that country. I don't disagree with the deposition of Sadaam Hussien's regime, but the coalition did not have all of their ducks in a row before kicking this mess off, nor did enough troops get sent in to squash the counterrevolution.
Furthermore, I think that our military involvement wasn't justified. Not only the actual war but the enforcement of a now fly zone since Desert storm ended. That created this current atmosphere of hatred toward the U.S. in the region.
The war in Afghanistan is in part caused by the U.S. government following through on a promise, during the '70s we helped the Taliban repeal a Soviet invasion, the leader of this movement, Osama bin Laden. We promised aid and an official recognition of the Taliban government. Neither of those happened thus turning the rage of fundamentalist Islamic jihadis upon our selves. This is unfortunate because of that fateful day a little over four years ago, it also proved that the politicians in Washington are not purely concerned with the well being of America, or her allies.
Whew, that was quite a rant, I have to give thanks to fakeplastic for sending me on this rant. She is also a bit disturbed about America's direction and, she's FUCKING CANADIAN. Though this makes sense, whatever bad happens here, wil evetually happen there and poor Mexico will just get shit on worse. Let's open our borders and let our friends and enemies come to us.
That is all, for now.
