And so she waved, smiling like she was not breaking inside; wishing with all her heart that these meetings could be anything but the bittersweet sorrow that they had become. Once he drove away she collapsed within herself, crumpling... finding no solace in the car in which she sat. She was not aware of her surroundings at all... all she knew was the torment within her heart.

Hoping that no one saw her demise, her heart died a slow, agonizing death within her chest.
