[Music: Pink Floyd - Echoes]

Y'know how in cartoons, or in sitcoms, there's often a character who's really accident prone and stupid? Sometimes oafish, usually fat (sorry tubbies, it's true, I saw it on TV), quite often with a remarkably annoying or dumb-sounding voice?

When we all moved into party house party house, I became that character somehow.

So far I've managed to glue my hands together with industrial adhesive, fall down the many garden steps, damage my nervous system, temporarily break the fridge door and have my bedroom radiator fall off the wall and leak through the floor into the living room.

Well, today I needed my soldering iron.

And (hold on, it's not going where you think...) the iron lives in my guitar bag. So I go to fish it out, plunge my hand right in and find much to my pleasure that not only had I left my glass slide in there (I wondered where it was), but said slide had smashed sometime in transit.

And now I'm left sporting a lurvely deep cut, right across the first joint of my left index finger. That's fret-central, non-guitar-players. And I've got 2 gigs in the next 4 days.

Mwhahahahaha.

On a lighter note, check this out:

Thanks to Emmy for that smile

Seriously, I cried when I read it and looked at the picture. It comes from the walls of a cell in an asylum.

Uh, what else?

Nothing.

That's what.
