OK, the party weekend was brilliant. The gig was a weird one. Much more of a family atmosphere than expected, and hence our typical nightclub sleaze didn't really carry in the midday sun... least of all in front of dozens of sub-10 yr olds.
Funnily enough, the younger kids loved it. We impressed a few people. Sold some CD's, maybe made some new fans. Plus, the organisers paid us money, gave us free beer and free food, so our stay was very comfortable.
Also on the weekend, I got t o hang out with one of my favourite bands of all time for the first time in well over a year...
Salad Days.
I think I'm getting the despatch date - from which we'll be able to figure out the release date - of the album probably tomorrow. And we've got a big London launch party planned, which, when I get on the boards here and make some friends (the time to do so would be a fine thing) I'll be telling you about it. Did that make any sense?
Hmmm. What else? Oh, yeah. Go buy ONoffON by Mission Of Burma.

I don't know where i got the gang of four from...maybe because everyone else is ripping them off?
You would love the shit out of Lightning Bolt, though.
Check out Load Records...they have a lot of decent stuff.
