Yeah, so I kind of suck at this whole "writing on a regular basis" thing. Granted, I already knew this from a failed attempt at a website a year or two ago, but there you have it anyway. Maybe I'll repost some of the better things that used to be there sometime. Probably not. It shouldn't be hard to find if you look anyway, so why bother? Besides, I am lazy.
Very little has happened of late. My good buddy Decibel has been converted to the goodness that is SG, but that's about all that has happened since I wrote last. Well, that and school, but school deserves little mention more than two sentences. The second sentence being to state for the record that I can generally be found kicking around CL 135 (otherwise known as the CSSS closet) when I am at the university and not in class, should anyone suddenly have the unbearable urge to see me... you may have to kick me first though, as I will likely be sleeping on the couch.
Thirty bonus points to anyone who has any idea whatsoever what I am about to say and is not Decibel (since I already know he knows what I'm talking about). Further bonus points to anyone who can come up with a suitable challenge, since I knew depressingly few people who play. The Dimir deck is mostly done, and surprisingly less trivial than I thought it would be given the pisspoor cards I have at my disposal, mostly because it mills fairly quick when it gets going. I think it needs a Millstone or two though, or at the very least another Junktroller for the Tunnel Vision instamill combo. The Megrim/Rack deck still destroys it of course, even in its woefully unfinished state... it needs some Anvils of Bogardan and another couple Megrims to complete it, which I hope to be getting ahold of soon. In the meantime, Gnat Misers are a suitable pain-in-the-ass substitute if I can manage to summon the complete set right away. Cycling deck is still considerably better overall at the moment though, even without liberal use of the Karmas in the sideboard. So I've got three servicable decks ranging from fairly weak to ungodly... who's up for a game or two?
I'm still here.
