INT. COFFEESHOP - DUSK
It is an overcast day. The coffeeshop is full of people, of various colors of skin. The style of the coffeeshop is bourgeoise hip. Two hot girls are moving back and forth behind the counter, talking and cleaning. A plain, plump girl also works behind the counter. Everyone in the coffeeshop is stylishly dressed up or dressed down. Outside there are a group of males, hip in sunglasses or attitude, hairstyle or stance, congregating. In the corner there is a boy, ANDREW, who has just recently entered the coffeeshop writing on his computer. A man is leaning against the window outside, less than a foot from him, though they are separated by glass.
ANDREW (V.O.)
No more love at first sight man. It gives them to much credit.
It begins to drizzle outside, and the group of men scramble inside or away, around the corner.
ANDREW (V.O.) (CONT'D)
It just doesn't make sense to fall in love with someone before they even say anything. And "May I help you doesn't count". It just doesn't.
One of the light skinned hispanic girls leans over the counter exposing the top of a tatoo above the hem of her jeans. Andrew notices. Another girl with red hair and a small silver stud in her nose comes to the table in front of him and cleans off the dirty dishes while a well-trimmed man in a white shirt with the top three buttons open talks to her like he is in charge.
ANDREW (CONT'D)
No more.
Andrew reassures himself.
