So a friend made me realise yesterday that this semester of uni will conflict with my normal life! typically i've just done subjects that look as interesting as they can be for a *cough cough* commerce degree but this semester is my second last and ill be doing all the final year courses that HAVE to be done... you're probably thinking how's this an adventure and i guess its not a typical adventure but the real scary thing is that I have to get a new job!
For the past three years i've been pulling shots and being a typical coffee snob, i've been a roaster, cupper and bean grader in the past, dabbled with the third wave coffee scene and decided i didn't want to be make my passion my career. This probably sounds silly for most but i might cover the reasons another day, but for now just assume theres a decent reason. Long story short this uni semester requires me to be at uni in the morning almost everyday and theres nothing i can do about it which means finding another job.
So this is the adventure time... i thought i need to ride around the city to discover what i was going to do
I only have a photo because a friend thought it was funny that i was colour cordinated with my olive green frame... i don't know why thats unusual but anyway.... so i rode around the city looking for ideas... do i go to the best competition and work for them as a casual? do i try to get a 'professional' job? do i try something new? or do i go back behind a bar? I still dont know so if you want to help that'd be nice... i thought i may go for a bar job at jamie oliver's place that he's opening up here which shouldn't be too hard to get and it might be nice to revive some good-old days... ANY SUGGESTIONS?
later in the week i think i'll do a gaming blog because it seems to be taking up most of my holiday time currently :-)

Good luck on the job hunt. I've just ditched my office jobbie for a coffee jobbie. I'm that clumsy shot puller at the moment lol. But they like me enough to make me a supervisor already which is sweet!
I just have to get my technique on the machine better.
