So I'm TenaciousBe, aka Brian. But you can call me... well, whatever you feel like. I've been kickin around SG for a few years now, looking at the boobies and what have you, but figured I'd try to get a little more involved this go-round. I'm sure most of the people are also here for the boobies... of which I have some, although they're man-boobies. Ah well. You takes what you can get, right? So I'm not sure if anyone really reads much of what I may or may not have to say, but just for that one person out there who may give a portion of a fuck, here goes.
Basically, my life revolves around a crummy work schedule (12 hour overnight shifts in an oatmeal factory... bleh) and my true passion, playing guitar in a rock band. You can check us out at http://www.wikkedforever.com if you're so inclined. It may not be much, but it keeps the homicidal urges at bay. Or, brings them out, in song form. Either way, for my money, there's no better therapy in the world than the few minutes that I'm lost in song with my bandmates, 3 people working towards one frenetic sound.
And that's really the majority of what I do. I live alone, I work on band stuff, play Wii, watch movies, dink around Facebook for hours on end. Got plenty of acquaintances, but really only a few close friends. But I do love meeting new people, especially local types and those who share common interests (music, pro wrestling, etc).
And within the past couple weeks, I've been given a big scare (mom had a stroke - she's doing fine though) and a re-awakening that life is precious and we should embrace everything it has to offer. Life is way too short to pussyfoot around waiting for things to come to you... or to be all flirty with someone and then watch them back off when shit gets real. I'm not here to "meet girls," I'm really just here to cultivate relationships - be they friendships, acquaintanceships, or whatever happens happens. I often say that "people suck," and let's face it - many do. But there are a few really good ones out there, people who GET it, and I'm interested in knowing those people. And hey, being a member on SG is already a good sign that you get what life is about, right?
Aw hell.... I'm ramblin again. But yeah, that's me in a nutshell or five. Hope to meet some cool people here, and let's all start off this new week with a bang, shall we?
