From Birmingham hails
a Greek God in knickers
and I am so confused
or rather not
The mess seems to clarify
in his midst
and I dare to dream again
I believed romance dead
and nuptual ties to be foolish
now I question
my own contradictions
needs and wants of a particular kind
had no purpose in my life
but now I fear myself
and the shaky ground on which I stand
I am a million miles from what I want
dreading the hard time ahead
I close my eyes
I am touched
breath on my neck
I can breathe again...

He must be packin'
a mighty powerful lightning bolt
in his pocket.
As for touching...let's just say I had some help last night
