Went out last night with a dim, dull Wimbledonian who would really not take "no" for an answer. He was unbelivably naf, though he did take me to a nice restaurant for dinner. My girlfriend was impressed because he sent a dozen roses and brought a box of chocolates. As if that is all it takes to excite or impress. Sad to say (for him) that there was no good-night kiss. After much berating, he talked me into going out today and I said that I wanted to see the exhibit at Dali Universe. A.) he didn't know who Dali was, and B.) he didn't know where the Jubilee Gardens were even though he is from London/ Wimbledon and has lived here his whole life... I got directions... Enough about the dull man!
Along with the Dali exhibit there was some work by Picasso which was not very good and I spent ages gazing at the seragraphs and glasswork by Dali. (The moron kept poking all the large statues, I think he wanted to see if he could get thrown out...)
Waiting for contact from Kekone (ahem!), a bit worried actually.
Tomorrow I am meant to find my way up toward Nickysonic. He is going to show me a proper English pub where I can have warm beer.
I don't know if that is actually the plan, but I am improvising... New update later!
