Well, technically I am nearing the end of my day soon. I still gotta add some comments to a few of the newest shoots, as I checked them out this morning and was muy impressed. This place is great. Changing my schedule is having the usual interesting effects it has on me. I walk around confused, mildly cranky, and slightly dazed for a week, then I'm okay again. I took a pic of my last batch of caramel swirl fudge because it came out so yummy looking, and I snapped a shot of the doz. cherries I left in reserve for myself. I also took some pics of the new blooms in my garden and a few of my healthier plants (my cayenne peppers are doing amazing, and I have a cilantro that is exactly 2 feet 4 inches tall from the base of the plant) I can't help being a bit of a shutterbug, I have always loved being behind the camera. Black and white was heaven. I even loved processing my film and pictures. My 3 favorite classes in high school were photography, welding, and science.. but photo was a passion that even surpassed welding. -and trust me, that's saying a lot, there was hardly a thing I enjoyed more than oxy-acetylene welding. I did well at the test plates and stuff, but I loved making boxes and metal art of various abstract types.
The last 3 days have been very interesting even if they have been busy. I stayed up late yesterday (well, when you're new sleeping schedule is from noon-6 pm, 2 in the afternoon the next day seems late) and decided to hit the thrift store. Because of my size, I usually have to shop in the kids clothes, and mind you most of the time this is a hunt for mostly black and unique in a terrible sea of pink/pastel and glitter. This time however, my luck was good and I scored 5 awesome shirts, 2 pairs of perfectly good black pants, and an itty black skirt- all for $19. While there i saw a couple of really cute and highly potential SuicideGirls, (one was only 17 and the other disappeared before I could approach her) I am currently brainstorming with t-shirt ideas to help attract more people to SG. And I am slightly proud of myself as I have refrained so far this week from buying a pack of smokes, but I think I am going to crack verrrry soon. I think tomorrow I will be adding some of my pics.. but for now I 'm just going to go make myself a nice, warm watermelon scented bubble bath with a yummy glass of Turning Leaf White Zinfadel. Then I will slip under my covers and take a nice, long nap.
