I've just starting reading this new book called "The power of now" by Eckhart Tolle. I guess you could call it some sort of "spiritual enlightenment" book?
Apparently this author had an absolute epiphany one night after waking from a bad dream. From that point on he took the next two years of his life to try and understand what it means to live life in the absolute now. He stopped living for two complete years! He sat on a park bench and pieced this who spiritual theory together. Shortly after his two years away he took another ten to try and understand his transformation.
The opening is incredible! I can't wait to see how he unfolds this very complex, but very practical philosophy.
