I am so lame. Just got back from a night of dancing and I'm updating my SG journal because... guess what? I can't sleep. I'm going through a "operate on little or no sleep" phase. Blah. But I feel great. Weirdness...
Ryan and I headed out to the Honey Bee Hive tonight for lots of live electronic music. A friend of mine is in Nominal, and I wanted to support him and his group so I convinced Ryan to get his hot ass out. They were *amazing.* Electronic beats + keyboards + drummer + bass player=fucking awesome! I can't wait to see them again. Skylab2000 was really fun, too. Totally old-school. Reminds me of being 16 wearing phat pants and grooving in some crazy warehouse in Oakland with sweat dripping from the ceilings and candy-ravers all around me. Damn... can't believe that was nearly 8 years ago.

I put a sheet over my windows in the hopes that I can actually sleep in tomorrow. Wish me luck.

where the hell do people dance at these "techno" thingees?? last time i was there, there was just a little bitty "dance floor" where the bands would set up and play............
