I spent the afternoon in Hillcrest soakin' up the sunshine and checking out all the hot women. Damn. There sure are a lot of gorgeous tattooed women in Hillcrest. I was shameless with my flirty smiles and stares. Everytime I go to Hillcrest, I feel better about the world. Maybe it's just because it reminds me of San Francisco and I am desperately homesick. Anyway, while in Hillcrest I bought a cute new skirt from American Apparel to wear out dancing tomorrow. It matches my new boobie tattoos quite nicely.
I was bad and didn't run today. Which means I have to do it tomorrow or else. I'm craving barbecue and margaritas right now.

I was actually a little concerned that you were going to take one look at my journal entry and say to yourself "Christ, what a rot-head!"
But it's who I am sometimes, you know? When I write, I often to express frustrations that I don't feel can be expressed effectively in any other way.
At the same time, though, when I set about to write a tune, if I'm feeling similarly, those vibes don't necessarily translate into an abrasive track, and I've come to really appreciate that.
Fuck, don't know quite where that bit came from, but I hope it wasn't a boring read...
Anyway! Yes, I'll wager that you've seen the "Everything, Everything" DVD and that intro to "Juanita", I think, is the best example of that euphoric bass dropping!
Also, Burning Man! You've been, I assume? Well, I haven't, but I must go, because I know that my first trip will leave me addicted to attending, and right now I think I want that more than anything else.
Take care, have a lovely day, and enjoy Hillcrest. I lived there for most of 2000 on the corner of Tenth and Robinson, and I really loved it. It's very charming and most everyone is really sweet, and with your arrival in October, they're obviously able to add one more to that population of sweet people.
