Well suckage. What a long ass week followed by a craptacular weekend. Nothing but problems and service outages at work ... I swear, this place is going to hell in a handbasket lately. And it's not even my fault for once!
Plus, I was all set to teach a Friday-Saturday networking class that started this past weekend. I thought it'd be a lot of fun, the enrollment was outrageous at 32 people already enrolled. Which is damn good for around here -- the other in-person section was cancelled due to low enrollment and the online section was not even half full. But those were taught by the same boring, lifeless instructors that always teach the class. Then along comes me, the new guy, and I get a fat enrollment just on name value (or the fact that I wasn't the other two).
And so I go to class Friday, and what the fuck? Nine people show up?? Had to cancel the damn class. Which sucks on many levels -- it was going to be fun, and that's like $3k I won't get paid for the next two months. So much for getting a new mattress.
Damn it all. Oh well. At least I have UC Davis to look forward to in the fall, and a new web server administration course I have to prepare over the summer.
