First and for most I want to resubmit this particular punctuation mark for use by everyone so that it is a choice on smart phones....well, image won't load but basically its a backwards question mark that denotes sarcasm...
And second....I love where I'm from. I love my friends here, but man, there are some DUMB motherfuckers here. Being in the middle of nowhere has its advantages....like the beauty of nature, which I would suggest this site use some time. I have great ideas of places to use....
However, the draw backs of closed-minded, bible thumping idiots that use no measure of common sense or reason is taxing to no end.
Recently we had our local school system make it mandatory that children pray, as in ONLY Christian prayer, in school. And the argument that they gave, along with the backing of a plethora of parents, was that the founding fathers originally meant for Christianity to be the official faith of the United States....so, I went through this same school system, and luckily had an excellent history teacher. And according to this exceptional woman, and actual historical events, the reason people originally moved here was to ESCAPE religious persecution. The founding fathers thereforeadded that there should never be an official religion! That is the greatness of our nation. But ignorant knuckleheads in my area want to ignore this particular right of all people in our nation.
Now usually I let these things go, but I see it as another roundabout way that stupid people are intentionally fighting to give up their civil liberties.
