i remember many years ago, in college. i dreamt the meaning of life.
but i forgot it. my friends thought it hilarious that i could have forgotten something so important.
i dreamt it again, but i could never adequately explain it to my friends.
it was contained in a single word. delivered in a form beyond the imperitive: "BE."
"BE" (exist) (LIVE!) (you are here) (you are everywhere) (everything is) (all is in togetherness)
i saw/felt/heard everything, but without the time or ability to comprehend... everything in an instant. everything in the space of a single point. a million billion voices murmuring... a billion billion stars...
it was then i learned that knowing the meaning of life does not necessarily help one live it. the meaning of life simply tells one what to do, not how to do it. perhaps the simple fact of knowing has given hope though, and in a small way *has* helped.
