so, this guy introduced me to this website. this guy makes toronto the most beautiful city i've ever seen:
i love trinity park, im getting very excited about my visit back home.
i worked my ass off this weekend. was up at 6am on saturday and 8am on sunday working for about 7 hours each day. thats a long shift for waiting tables...
arik's birthday party was on sunday so i went over there after work and met up with claudia... there are some lovely photos floating about im sure.
i picked up bailey from the middle of nowhere yesterday and brought her into the city... fun fun. she was a lovely house guest even thought i was not present for a few hours.
i've had no desire to drink much lately. hmm... wierd.
so i drove one of my co-workers home today. i heard all about his life... he was married at 17 to the girl next door who he'd grown up beside his entire life and they now have 3 kids (2 boys & 1 girl, 3, 5, 7). the youngest isn't in school so the mother has to stay home and take care of them making her unable to work. they live in a 2 bdrm apartment and he has to pay all the bills. he wants to go to canada but he doesn't have a passport because they are too expensive for him (not that he'd be able to just up and go to canada anyway) because he's mexican.
all of this reminded me of when i was a fucked up child at like 11 or 12 or something and my parents got me into this program taht they have in ontario called 'big sisters', so, i had this really awesome chick (her name was jenny) come over all the time and take me out... we saw movies, we had bbq's, we bought friendship rings... i think i remember going to the hospital and having to have my sea turtle friendship ring cut off my finger because my body was too swollen (its a little vaugue). anyway, i wonder if there's something like that in L.A? I think it would be fantastic to be this 'rad older sister' type to a young girl who had no one to talk to.
anyway, my computer is still off in apple land getting fixed somewhere in california. i miss it terribly. my ipod is keeping me company as of late... oh what a heavan sent... the ipod.
i think tonight i will drive out to the beach and read a book... i've been wanting to do something like that and i have a few good books waiting to be read.
and now i leave you with this...
this is what happens when i get little to no sleep for 3 days and find claudia's lengerie drawer:
don't judge me.
xo.
t.
dear dean, stop being mad at us and come home please... we miss you.
edit::
My mother just worked out my Jenny story a little better for me... aparently i wasn't 11 or 12, i was 7 or 8 and the reason i had to get the ring cut off was because i'd left it on so long that my hands were growing and my finger was turning green because i refused to take it off. I was loosing circulation to my finger...
HA.
