CA in the summer? badass mi amigo. badass. yes, it's med school, and buying a house is a total pain the ass, but "my" house (will not close until july but contracts signed) is on the backside of 70 acres of county owned undevelopable land (watershed abatement) so my dogs and I can romp.

florida is nice, but it's hot a great deal, and it doesn't have lovely forests and fireflies and hills like NY and NJ. I could have stayed here, but i wanted to broaden my vision, probably similar to why you are in sarasota, instead of Columbia, NYU or any of the other schools near you.
