had a nice long weekend in frisco. Five days and I stil haven't recouped enough to go to work.
Had a great time thurs. at the hemlock watching a great japanese band; DMBQ. super hard noisy cock rock from japan, spitting on all the lil hipsters who had no idea what was happening. Went to great resturant after great resturant. Bamboo on polk is the best chinese I think I've ever had. Also the ASKEW place on haight makes a amazing lamb shishkabob. Finally broke down on bought a lovely storage cabinet for my CDS at IKEA, they have great meaballs there.

CHROME anthology; the early stuff, buy this set and you will not be dissapointed. good hard pre industrial sounds like a more agressive tones on tale. plus it has the worst liner notes in history, so funny.
Terry Riley; Rainbow in Curved air. A classic album with more commercial aspects than his basic minamilism. Fucking great.
john cale: vintage violence remaster... w/ bonus tracks, very nice.
branca; a cd of selected guitar symphony moments.
john zorn; kristallnacht, uncomprimising beauty, unrelentless music.
