Sooo.. lets see... a bottle of apple cider vinegar is a wonderful thing to have around for starters, You can use it by itself or if you buy a small bottle of rosemary essential oil, you can add 2-3 drops to about 12 ounces of apple cider vinegar- (just don't forget to shake it a bit before each use) For the vinegar, You will want to shampoo as usual, then follow with a capful or tablespoon of the vinegar in 1 cup cold water, follow with a second cup of cold water to help rinse, and then if desired or if you have especially dry hair follow with conditioner (you can but you don't have to ) Another alternative is if you use the vinegar without the Rosemary oil, you can follow the rinse with 1-2 drops of pure rosemary oil in your palm rubbed through your hair. If you use this method you will probably not need the conditioner, as the rosemary adds a balancing, and moisturising effect, plus you get a lustrous shine when it dries and it smells great. The other plus with Rosemary is the stimulating effects it has on circulation, which can help a great deal with hair growth. A wooden comb is a good thing to have, as you can use it on wet hair without tearing the hair. Vitamin C is an important factor as well. If you don't mind juicing.. I have recently found 2 recipes that may help as well. The first juice is as follows and may help promote growth- 1 tblspn green pepper juice, 1/4 cup green apple juice, 1 tblspn cucumber juice, 1/4 cup celery juice, 1 tspn parsley juice. One glass fresh juice 2x daily, (or you could probably just do a big salad with roughly the same ingredients) Juice 2 is for strength- 1/4 cup carrot juice, 1/4 cup cauliflower juice. One glass 3x daily. Ummm... lets see... Oh, after you wash your hair or shower you should braid your hair, and if possible, leave it braided until it dries. (this will boost volume like you would not believe) and when you sleep at night you should also braid it. You would be amazed at how much of an improvment the braiding alone will do. I dont know if this helps but I use Garnier Fructis Fortifying Shampoo - Long & Strong, great for split ends and fragile or hard-to-grow hair, and Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor when I condition. I think that's most of it, but if I remember anything else I will be sure to drop you a note. And good luck, I hope this helps.
