so i dont have to look at that last entry every time i log on, a new and joyous one!
have just discovered the Neil Gaiman group on here, can't think why i didn't look before. i feel a new sense of purpose combined with urge to re-read all of Sandman tonight therefore: not a boring Saturday night in alone anymore!
just got this text from one of my housemates who is at my brother's housewarming in Brighton currently: 'Boring me etc. Slightly wish i was reading unca neil/you or rebecca was here - boring me etc + drunk etc = dance all night' which is great Gaiman obsession synchronicity in my book! He bought Anansi Boys, the new book, earlier today, and to my deep annoyance took it to Brighton with him. Grr.
also as an afterthought i've posted a quick strip i did for London Student paper
here. strip like comic, not naked. anyway, rebecca is the new Culture Editor so she asked me to do something and it was like 3 hours til deadline so did this and i quite like it, though it wasn't the style i had planned on using. might adapt it for next issue. it comes out fortnightly so after a year i'll be bound to have some portfolio-worthy samples!

If you check out the SciFi group (I think) you'll find a decent few references to Gibson's work, mostly in the "hottest character" thread, where everyone loves Molly (I prefer Chevette). Of course, Molly made it to the big screen and has some pretty sick body mods, so maybe that has something to do with it
Sorry to read about your financial troubles. I have no comforting or witty things to say about it... but I hope you can find a way out.
